She had done what was asked of her, but it didn’t feel like a victory. Not this time. “She’s especially pleased,” Corin continued, his tone growing more serious as he took a step closer to her, “that you’ve managed to get so close to Aemond. Gaining access to the castle, entering his chambers… It’s more than she could have hoped for.” Lyra felt a cold shiver run down her spine at his words.
