Juno’s smile softened into one of genuine concern as she studied his face. Her eyes, bright and full of warmth, scanned his features, taking in the subtle signs of distress he couldn’t quite hide. “You look like you’ve got a lot on your mind. Everything okay?”
He sighed, the weight of his thoughts pressing down on him. “It’s about someone… someone I care about, but it’s all so mixed up. I don’t know how to handle it.”
“Do you want to keep walking?” she asked, her voice gentle. She had a hopeful look in her eye. Legosi might be pretty dense most of the time, but he knew Juno had once had a crush on him. He had told her very clearly he wasn’t interested though, even if he didn’t quite know she still harbored those feelings. He still found her presence nice to be around though and considered her a friend. It was why he had felt comfortable talking with her and taking a walk alone.
